16/00950 - Implementation of CKAN Data Distribution Platform

Energinet.dk, the Danish Transmission System Operator, has decided to develop a platform for sharing energy data (Energy DataStore). Energinet.dk collects energy consumption data from every Danish household and business as well as production data from every windmill, solar cell and power plant. We also receive environmental data and handle all data from the gas and electricity market as well as our own infrastructure – among others. It is decided that the Energy DataStore shall be built on the Open Source technology CKAN, and Energinet.dk is therefore seeking consultancies to implement the CKAN solution as main component in the Energy DataStore.
