HVC BU-DE, Warmte - Vooraankondiging Geothermieprojecten Westland

NV HVC or HVC warmte B.V. will establish a subsidiary for geothermal mining activities and it cooperates in providing solutions for making the energy supply for greenhouse horticulture more sustainable. The demand for heat in is high and there is enough potential for sustainable heat to make the region self-sufficient. Currently we are developing multiple locations for drilling geothermal wells. Most likely we will start drilling early 2022 with 4-6 geothermel wells (2 or 3 doublets) at the location of Maasdijk. 1-3 other locations (one doublet each location) might follow in 2022-2024. The new HVC entity is voluntary pre-announcing this project and will tender the requisitions by both public procedures and limited procedures. Voluntarily the Aanbestedingswet 2012 and Aanbestedingsreglement werken 2016 (ARW2016) is applied with the aim to achieve transparency and competition within the requisitions. The purpose of this pre-announcement is both to inform potential interested suppliers and to apply reduced timelines in the public tenders.
