1900686 - Consultancy services for the evaluation of Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiatives’ support to private sector initiatives
The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) represented by The Evaluation Department, invites to a procurement that covers one contract whereby the successful tenderer will be assigned responsibility to evaluate Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative’s (NICFI) support to private sector initiatives aimed at reducing deforestation and forest degradation. The purpose of the evaluation is to contribute to strengthening NICFI’s support to private sector initiatives for the new strategic period up to 2030.
To achieve this, the evaluation will assess the strategic approach, effectiveness and relevance of NICFI’s support to private sector initiatives and provide recommendations about how to improve the support. Brazil and Indonesia are case countries in the evaluation. The primary users of the evaluation include the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the NICFI secretariat, embassies in partner countries and Norad’s civil society department. The evaluation shall be conducted between January 2020 and January 2021, with a maximum scope of 250 consultant days.
