2020/00329 - Technical assistance to the Rural Energy Agency in Tanzania

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dar es Salaam (the Contracting Authority), is inviting interesting parties to participate in an open tender procedure to establish a contract for technical assistance to the Rural Energy Agency (REA) in Tanzania in implementing the Rural Electrification Densification Programme phase 2A (REDP 2A). REDP targets the electrification of villages in Tanzania that can be electrified by installation of new underline distribution transformers and extension of the low-voltage (LV) distribution network. It is a wide-reaching initiative, through which electricity connections can reach users at low cost as the grid is already present and only the costs of distribution transformers and LV distribution and materials for service lines components are required. The consultant shall support REA with TA in the implementation and follow-up of the REDP 2A.
