The Danish Center for Marine Research is purchasing a mobile equipment package to facilitate the use of naval research vessels for oceanographic investigations. Part of this mobile equipment package is a retractable A-frame launch and recovery system (LARS) with a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and two associated electric winches. The LARS and associated HPU is to be mounted on a standard 20 foot shipping container footprint.
