Projektet er en del af etableringen af en ny 400 kV højspænding forbindelse i Vestjylland fra Idomlund til Endrup og fra Endrup til grænsen. Nærværende byggesag omfatter etablering af 16 kabelovergangstationer, hvor kabler ændres fra luftledning til ledninger i jord og omvendt, samt fundamenter for en enkelt kabelovergang uden station
