23/08629 - Decommissoning of Gaspipes West Funen

Energinet reroutes 25 km of existing gas pipeline on Western Funen. A new pipeline located further north will facilitate the construction of a high-speed railway. The existing pipeline (to be taken out of use) will be de-commissioned as soon as the new pipeline is in operation. The pipeline to be decommissioned will partly be removed that means app. 13 km to be decommissioned and app. 12 km will stay in the ground. In addition to the pipeline the decommissioning includes decommissioning of two (2) valve stations.
