1.1 About Norconsult Norconsult is Norway's largest and one of the leading multidisciplinary consultancy firms in the Nordic region. Our services are geared towards community planning and design, and we have become a leading player both nationally and internationally. We are engaged in all aspects of development, from initial concepts to master plans, engineering and operational support. We deliver more than 20 000 assignments yearly, for public and private clients both home and abroad. Norconsult’s services results in an extensive document production with a lot of cooperation and interaction with internal and external resources. The documents are developed through several phases and many phases, and a lot of the projects includes a large degree of interdisciplinarity. The document production can basically be divided into documents produced based on Microsoft Office and various BIM tools (Building Information Modelling) We are planning to acquire a document management solution that meets our requirements, and has planned the acquisition process with the following two phases: 1. The RFI / RFP phase shall lead to a limited number of pre-qualified ECM suppliers 2. The subsequent RFQ phase shall select the final supplier and product. We will have a broad approach in the RFI/RFP phase to get the overview of ECM solutions that may meet the requirements outlined in the attached documents.
