Samlet bruttoareal for den nye flerbrukshallen er på ca. 4 375 m² BTA og skal omfatte en hallflate på 25 x 45 meter som skal kunne deles inn i tre deler, løpebaner, tilrettelegging for lengde, høyde, stavsprang og kastøvelse, samt turnhall. Hallen skal ha tribune og tilhørende garderober og lager. Ny hall skal bygges inntil Åshallen (eksisterende idrettshall) og ha ny felles vestibyle og forbindelse mellom hallene.
