23/150397 - RFI - Søker en leverandør av programvare for kartgenerering og 3D-visualisering

We are planning to hold dialogue meetings with possible partners. The purpose of the meetings is to give the Norwegian Public Roads Administration a more thorough introduction to a possible partner with a suitable offering. We want to gain a better understanding of what the vendor can offer. To qualify to participate in these dialogue meetings, the Supplier must answer the questions in this RFI. In addition, reference must be made to highlight experience with clients and technology knowledge in relevant areas. Used for: Generation of maps and 3D visualization as well as analysis of vectorized GIS data and image analysis. Has been in use at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration since 2018, and is a useful program that is desired by several, according to a recent user survey. Global Mapper encompasses several features that we have not been able to find consolidated in other tools. Consequently, users must deal with multiple tools to fulfill the same needs. A significant advantage of the program is its low user threshold, meaning that users do not need extensive training to start using it.
