Anlegget omfatter totalt 82 km to-felts veg, fordelt på: • 35 km ny veg i eksisterende trase • 27 km tunneler • 20 km veg i ny trase I anlegget inngår flere mindre bruer, kollektivtiltak, rasteplasser, døgnhvileplass, utfartsparkeringer, driftsunderganger, gang- og sykkelveger, samleveger, tilkoplinger til eksisterende veg, nye kryssløsninger og sanering (reduksjon) av private avkjørsler. Oppgradering av avlastet vegnett Kåringen – Kanstad, samt forsterket vedlikehold av avlastet E10 Fiskefjord – Tjeldsund bru inngår også
