The Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e. V. (hereinafter also referred to as "Welthungerhilfe" or "WHH") is one of the largest private development cooperation and humanitarian aid organizations in Germany. Welthungerhilfe is a non-profit organization and is politically and denominationally independent. It fights for "Zero Hunger by 2030". Since its foundation in 1962, more than 0,369 foreign projects in 70 countries have been supported with 4.2 billion euros. Welthungerhilfe works according to the principle of "helping people to help themselves", from rapid disaster relief and reconstruction to long-term development cooperation projects with national and international partner organizations.

The objective of the assignment is the facilitation of the development of an advocacy strategy for WHH’s Nepal country program. The process includes methodological preparation, facilitation and documentation of virtual and on-site sessions with selected staff and partners, advocacy strategy development, capacity building measures as needed, and backstopping for the application of specific advocacy tools (e.g. right to food context analysis) with the Nepal country office and selected partners.
