2023/8828 - Registry management application (REMA) - delivered as a service via the Internet

The Norwegian Environment Agency embodies the Norwegian Emissions Trading Registry which is responsible for administrating the Norwegian section of the EU Union Registry. The Norwegian Registry processes applications for accounts in the registry, provides technical support to users, and monitors the usage and users of the Norwegian registry. Due to the extension of the system, the expected workload is expected to increase significantly. To manage the Norwegian registry adequately, it is necessary to install improved systems and tools to undertake the numerous tasks that are required by the registry administrators. Against this backdrop, we endeavour to procure a contractor that can install, run and develop REgistry Management Application (REMA), a software that has been specifically designed to facilitate the management of emissions registries. The main objective is to engage a contractor to run REMA in the form of a Software as a service and develop streamlining tools for the Norwegian emissions trading registry.
