2024/1212 - PFAS in consumables for printing

The purpose of this Assignment is to develop a separate assessment of the use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in consumables for printing to be included as new sub-chapters in Echa's background document for the restriction proposal for PFAS. Consumables for printing includes, but is not limited to, ink, toners, pressroom chemicals, and photographic mixtures. The Assignment is for the Consultant for the Consultant to scrutinize and process the information submitted from stakeholders on the relevant applications and compile and present the assessment in a format that can be used directly in a restriction background document.
