Detailed description:

ATC-NL intends to replace its aging Mode-S MSSR Terminal Approach Radar TAR-1 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This new Radar System β€œTAR-1” contributes to the cooperative (Mode-S) coverage for air traffic control of respective Schiphol Tower, Schiphol Approach and Area Control Centre. ATC-NL currently investigates the necessity to optionally also replace the Terminal Approach Radar at Groningen Airport Eelde (TAR-Eelde).
