PRJ-2818 - E1 VHF/UHF Air/Ground Radios

The purpose of this tender procedure is to award a single contract to a supplier that can provide the design, delivery, installation, and technical support and maintenance of radios for Air-Ground ATC communications. . The current installed base is approaching its end of life in 2027. The required UHF and VHF radios are geographically spread over 20 Tx/Rx radio stations across the Netherlands and contribute to radio communications coverage for Air Traffic Control services in the Netherlands Flight Information Region (FIR) and for the airports at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM), Lelystad Airport (EHLE), Rotterdam the Hague Airport (EHRD), Groningen Airport Eelde (EHGG), Maastricht Aachen Airport (EHBK). ATC-NL also operates at Vlissingen forward a relay site in the far south of the Netherlands. The scope also includes the replacement of Eurocontrol radios used for Maastricht Upper Area Control (MUAC) that are located at Schiphol, Vlissingen and Eelde and maintained by ATC-NL on behalf of Eurocontrol. Currently ATC-NL operates the E1-based Garex 230 VCS switch nodes, and it is expected that the radio solution must interoperate seamlessly with these VCS nodes. Furthermore, the supplier shall be able to provide the required maintenance and support services during the operational and economic lifetime of the solution.
