Oppdragsgivar skal anskaffe framtidas elektroniske pasientjournal - EPJ (tenesteplattform/systemlandskap) innan helse i takt med endra behov og teknologisk utvikling. Anskaffelsen skal dekke kommunane sine behov for dokumentasjon, samhandling og styringsinformasjon innanfor pleie- og omsorgstenester. Ei framtidsretta løysning skal bidra til gevinstar som auka kvalitet, auka tilgjengelegheit, økonomiske gevinstar, betre ressursutnytting, redusert sårbarheit og betre sikkerheit.
