DTU plans to acquire 5 fluorescence microscopes. The equipment must be based on four inverted microscopes with a test table in X / Y, and the equipment shall allow visualization of samples based on reflected light in fluorescence and bright field. The following fluorophores in a fluorescent sample must be able to be observed and separated from each other with the fluorescence detection system: DAPI, FITC,TRITC . In addition, the equipment should allow observation of transmitted light from samples using bright field. The microscope must be lined with lenses allowing for the above optical measurements in a range of lens magnifications from 4x to 100x with the use of cover glass on the sample surface. Three microscopes should allow imaging at 4x and at 20x. One microscope should allow imaging at 10x and phase contrast imaging at 20x. One microscope should allow imaging at 10x and 60x or higher. The microscopes should include a 1.5x optivar lens. The equipment supplied must not include a digital camera (option) but must allow mounting a camera with a C-mount and must allow for large field of view cameras (25mm FOV). One of the microscopes should be equipped with a motorized X-Y table (A second motorized stage is an option) compatible with a third party software (Micromanager).
