18/859 - Sola Kirke

Det skal bygges kirke i Sola Sentrum, kirkebygget fremstår som stilrent og funksjonelt. Kirkens plassering grenser til det nye rådhuset som er under oppbygging i Solakrossen. Grunnforholdene på tomten er krevende, og det kommer frem av den geotekniske rapporten at bygget enten bør fundamenteres direkte på fjell, på peler eller pilarer. Den tilstøtende byggeplassen til det nye rådhuset og det faktum at kirken skal bygges i sentrum av Sola gjør at det må tas en del hensyn med tanke på transport inn og ut av anleggsområdet, og ikke minst sørge for et godt skille mellom byggeplass og nærområdet.
