Madam, Sir, Welthungerhilfe (hereafter WHH) was established in 1962. It is today one of the largest German private organizations working in the area of development cooperation and humanitarian aid. The organization is non-profit-seeking, non-partisan and non-denominational. Donations from the population at large fund our work in over 40 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. In addition, WHH receives grants from the Department for International Development (DFID), the German Federal Ministry (BMZ), the European Union, the United Nations and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the World Food Program, (WFP), the German Foreign Ministry (AA), KFW and GIZ etc. Financed by SSD-WHH Program through it’s Country Office Project in Juba is currently in the market to sign a Long-Term Agreement for one (1) year with the possibility of extension, for the Transport Service Providers (Road and River) for its operations in South Sudan.
