Nærværende udbud omfatter anskaffelse, implementering, udvikling/tilpasning , support, vedligehold og videreudvikling af en samlet løsning bestående af software og udstyr, der skal understøtte, at dansk politi kan identificere personer ved hjælp af biometri. Denne kapabilitet er anvendelig i efterforskningen, men også i retsprocessen, beredskabet, på udlændingeområdet mm.
