        Västlänken ska resultera i cirka 8 km dubbelspårig järnväg, varav 6 km i tunnel,

        mellan Almedal i söder och Olskroken i norr genom centrala Göteborg. Dessutom

        ingår tre nya stationer i staden - vid Göteborg central, Haga och Korsvägen.

        Stora mängder överskottsmassor kommer uppstå under byggnationen och

        Västlänken och Olskroken Planskildhet har därmed för avsikt att teckna avtal

        med företag för mottagande av inerta massor under KM

        Kontraktet träder i kraft då båda parter har undertecknat kontraktet.

        Kontraktets ikraftträdande förutsätter dock att beställaren har lämnat upplysningar om till-delningsbeslutet samt att kontraktet får ingås med antagen entreprenör enligt lagen (2007:1091) om offentlig upphandling (LOU). Kontraktets ikraftträdande förutsätter även att järnvägsplanen för Västlänken har vunnit laga kraft.
