    Västlänken ska resultera i cirka 8 km dubbelspårig järnväg, varav 6 km i tunnel,

    mellan Almedal i söder och Olskroken i norr genom centrala Göteborg. Dessutom

    ingår tre nya stationer i staden - vid Göteborg central, Haga och Korsvägen. För

    att främja konkurrensen i entreprenaderna så har projektet, efter utarbetad

    strategi beslutat att upphandla mottagning av förorenade massor. På grund av

    den stora mängd överskottsmassor så anser vi det konkurrensbegränsande,

    speciellt för nya aktörer på marknaden, att hantera den mängden överskott i

    själva entreprenaden.
