Projektet omfattar rälsbyte på sträckan Aleholm-Grevaryd (uppspår) under 2017. Rälerna på sträckan är valsade under år 1977 och är behäftade med ett tillverkningsfel som gör att de riskerar att drabbas av längsgående tvärsprickor. Rälerna är även drabbade av utmattningsskador och antalet OFP-fel (fel upptäckta vid ultraljudskontroll) är betydligt högre än vad som är normalt för räler av samma ålder och slitagenivå.

Description of the procurement

Upphandlingen avser rälsbyte.
Projektet förväntas leda till minskade löpande
underhållskostnader samt kanske ännu viktigare till
att omfattande livstidsförlängande åtgärd.
Den nya rälsen innebär att risken för rälsfel som kan
vara såväl säkerhetsfarliga som tågstörande minskar.

Beställaren har option att tilläggsbeställa nedanstående arbete:
Byte av UIC 60 räl, den sista biten från hållplats Lammhult (där rälsbytet slutar) ner till växel 101 i Grevaryd (ca 2 km).
Arbeten på option ska utföras på i kontraktet gällande villkor.
Beställaren ska meddela entreprenören att option utlöses senast 3 månader innan arbetet ska utföras.
