Trafikverkets intentioner med denna upphandling är att tillgodose projektet MTLIV med systemspecifik kompetens för att säkerställa leveransen av anläggningssimulatorer.
Syftet med upphandlingen är att bilda ett systemspecifikt team som, tillsammans med Trafik-verkets egna team, ska realisera det lösningsförslag samt övergripande kravspecifikation som projektet har, under de inledande projektfaser, tagit fram. Målet är att maj 2018 kunna leve-rera simulatorer som går att använda för anläggningsverifiering inom projektet MTLIV samt medverka vid tester. Den framtagna plattformen, samt dess dokumentation skall även lämnas över till förvaltningen inom Trafikledningen
