Short description

Åtgärdsvalsstudier är en metodik för förberedande studier som innebär en förutsättningslös transportslagsövergripande analys med tillämpning av fyrstegsprincipen. Att arbeta med åtgärdsvalsstudier handlar om att säkra kostnadseffektiva lösningar som beaktar alla trafikslag och färdmedel liksom alla typer av åtgärder.
En åtgärdsvalsstudie avslutas i och med att själva studien och den redovisade rapporten är färdig och godkänd som underlag för beslut om fortsatt hantering. Resultatet från studien, i form av rekommenderad inriktning hanteras vidare i andra planeringsprocesser. För fysiska åtgärder ger åtgärdsvalsstudien underlag till fysisk planering enligt väglagen, lagen om byggande av järnväg och plan- och bygglagen.

Description of the procurement
