Projektingenjören/delprojektledaren förväntas biträda programledarna med i första hand administrativ kompetens. I uppdraget ingår även att stötta i planläggning, projektering och genomförande. I rollen ingår att planera och följa upp projekteringsprocessen inom utpekade projekt med avseende på innehåll, tid, ekonomi och kvalitet. Det är viktigt att projektingenjören kan arbeta både självständigt och i ett team tillsammans med programledningen.
