Oslo Municipality by The Agency for waste management (REG), invites you to participate in a competition for the procurement of 2 new waste cranes and 1 new slag crane at our Haraldrud Waste to Energy (HEA) Production Plant. Purchaser wishes to enter into an agreement with one Supplier on the delivery of new cranes and integration of the cranes into the WtE plant operation at HEA. The old cranes are reaching their technical lifetime and the intention is to replace them with more automated process equipment. The current Waste-to-Energy facility at REG features 2 combustion lines (HEA1 and HEA2). REG currently receive approx.100.000 t/year for incineration. The plan is to increase the incineration with 15% to approx.115.000 t/year. The waste received is mainly municipal waste. The agency is subject to the City Council for Environment and Transport, and is operated in accordance with the Oslo Municipality's ethical standards, values, current laws, regulations and guidelines. The agency has about 720 employees. The procurement will be conducted based on this inquiry. Scope of supply is further described in the attached technical specifications.
