The spectrometer setup will mostly be used to measure the photoluminescence emission of semi-conductor quantum dots and nanowires that emit from 700 nm to 900 nm, it is in this window that we want the best efficiency. But we also want a versatile setup that can cover a larger range from visible to near IR (below 1600 nm) thanks to two cameras (one for VIS & one for IR), with the highest resolution as possible but also with a good light efficiency (the emission of our emitter can be very low). Moreover, we are looking for an easy-to-use setup: we would like to have only one turret with 3 gratings that cover the all range to avoid turret exchange, and we would like to avoid any cooling liquid that has to be refilled.
