In order to establish the Modular ”DC system emulation platform” in PLDK with total 180kW,1500V capacity, the intent is to acquire 12 modular bidirectional power supplies and exploit their parallelization feature. The critical aspect of the system needs to be the controllability compatible with the existing PLDK protocols (eg: sequencer, LAN, analogy input).
In addition to 12 high voltage models of the power supplies, we intent to acquire 3 low voltage high current supplies which will cover full sweep of applications from battery characterization, power electronic research, DC system research and similar.
