Construction "All Risks" and third party liability insurance of the Fehmarn belt Link Project

The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link will be a road and rail tunnel between Denmark and Germany that will create opportunities for businesses, commuters and tourists and be the backbone of a new European economic region. The works covered by the policy has an estimated value of 5,379,000,000 Euro. Fehmern A/S requires insurance services related to construction of Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link comprising: Lot 1. Construction “All Risks” and Third Party Liability Insurance. Lot 2. Excess Third Party Liability Insurance, first layer. This procurement calls for tenders for lead-insurers on the above 2 lots/layers. The capacity and excess layers on each lot is described in section II.2.4). If this procedure does not lead to a full placement of the insurance, the procedure will be followed by a call for tenders from co-insurers.
