Smartphone application to monitor mobility behaviour and related attitudes

The Transport Division at DTU Management is seeking a smartphone application to collect data on mobility behaviour and attitudes over a period of several months, for at least 100 participants as part of the URGENT project. The data collection is intended to start in November 2023, participants will be recruited by DTU. The app needs to track users’ mobility behaviour and prompt questions. After a training/validation period of max. 2 weeks, where users are asked to actively review and validate their suggested trips, the app should be capable of automatically and accurately detecting chosen travel modes (e.g. car, train, metro, bus, bike, or walking), routes, trip lengths, distances, as well as start and stop times.
