On the 1st of September 2016, 17 European partners from four countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom) have started a European project called Clean Inland Shipping (CLINSH). The goal of this project with 17 partners, including local and regional governments, ports, universities and trade organizations, is to increase the sustainability of inland shipping. Within the CLINSH program environmental and socio-economic information will be collected on clean combustion methods, after treatment technologies and alternative (clean) fuels (together referred to as innovative techniques). For this purpose, the emission reduction of NOX, Particle Matter and CO2 emission will be monitored continuously on 31 ships, the CLINSH fleet (Lot 1). In addition to the continuous monitoring there will be discontinuous measurements on all ships on separate moments in time during the CLINSH project (lot 2). With this European Public Tender Procedure (EPTP) the Contracting Authority wants to select Contractors for lot 1 (continuous monitoring) and lot 2 (discontinuous measurements). The details regarding the EPTP and the Contract are described in the Tender Documents.
