6427 - Purchase of industrial laser

The laser will be used to create a laser sheet and will with a high speed camera measure concentration in air based on Mie-scattering from seeding particles. This will quantify mixing of a gas jet into a larger volume. The application is introduction of gaseous fuel into large two-stroke marine engines. The experiment will be on a scale model at laboratory conditions.
