6968 - Fatigue tester 250kN

The TestLab in DTU Wind Energy is an accredited testing laboratory dedicated to tests composite materials for the Wind Energy sector as well as others. In order to do so, the laboratory is equipped with servo-hydraulic machines. This purchase purpose is to expand machine capacity as well as giving the opportunity to test long samples/elements supporting blades development. This machine is a 250kN machine with extra long frame in order to test long specimens or use fixtures requiring extra daylight (length between grips). These tests are important for the laboratory in order to stay on the forefront of mechanical testing of materials dedicated to wind turbine blades.
