6984 - Purchase of Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA)

The TestLab in DTU Wind Energy is an accredited testing laboratory dedicated to tests composite materials for the Wind Energy sector as well as others. In order to do so, the laboratory is equipped with test equipment. The purpose of this purchase is to expand our capabilities with a DMA to characterize the composites, elastomer, coatings etc . DMA is very important for the la-boratory in order to stay on the forefront of mechanical testing of materials dedicated to wind tur-bine blades and the characterization of their viscoelastic behavior for example.
