The NGC will perform whole genome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis of samples from the regional healthcare system. Various interpretation software and tools will be used to identify specific variants relevant for further analyses, and the text mining software solution will then be queried for published information (found in online repositories such as PubMed, Google Scholar, SCOPUS) on these specific variants, e.g. publication history, population frequencies, clinical significance etc.. The solution should be versatile and will assist in the interpretation of data from many different patient groups. NGC wants to offer the text mining software solution to the Regions and to Universities for clinical use as well as for research. Thus, the solution is not limited to the interpretation of clinical samples. The users of the solution will be clinical scientists from the regional healthcare system as well as researchers from the universities. Roughly estimated, we expect around 60-80 different sites in Denmark with 2-6 users per site. We expect around a maximum of 50 concurrent users. They will log into the NCG HPC system and from here access the solution preferably through third party interpretation software, or directly via an internet browser. With the solution, they should be able to filter variants based on several criteria, e.g. mutation type, ACMG criteria, location in gene/genome etc. Please note that NGC does not have access to Electronic Health Records and therefore text mining of these as well as solutions focusing on Natural Language Processing are outside the scope of this tender. This section clarifies that any standard terms that are in conflict with the described use of licenses are set a side.
