Amplified femtosecond laser system

The Department of Photonics Engineering (DTU Fotonik) at the Technical University of Denmark is seeking offers for an amplified laser system that delivers mJ-class femtosecond laser pulses. The laser system will be part of an existing research infrastructure for ultrafast optics research. The main application area is generation and application of strong-field terahertz light (THz pulses), and due to the nonlinear frequency conversion from the near-infrared to the far infrared, the system requirements are focused on highest quality and stability of the laser. The requested laser system will operate in a stable, air-conditioned laboratory environment, and will be in operation together with two existing laser systems (SpectraPhysics Solstice and Spitfire) in a multi-user environment with continuous high load. This is reflected in our requirements for long-term stability and user-friendliness.
