BIR-CCS | EPCIC - Carbon Capture Plant integrated with Waste-to-Energy facility

BIR invites suppliers to a competitive dialogue for an EPCIC contract to develop a carbon capture plant integrated with its Waste-to-Energy facility in Rådalen. The plant will handle CO₂ capture, conditioning, liquefaction, temporary storage, and truck filling. CO₂ will be transported to permanent storage sites like Northern Lights. The final investment decision is expected in summer 2026, and the objective is operation before 2030.
