Breddning av väg i den mån det krävs för att kunna få plats med mitträcke och skapa 2-3 omkörningsmöjligheter per riktning. Sidoområden och diken görs säkrare. Korsningar och mindre anslutningar stängs om möjligt. Befintligt viltstängsel ses över och justeras för att minska risken för att vilt kommer ut på vägen.
