201850033.131.023 - RescEU physical medical stockpile of medical equipment

RescUE is an element of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. RescEU has the objective of enhancing the protection of citizens from disasters and the management of emerging risks. In addition, rescEU established a new European reserve of resources (the ‘rescEU reserve’) which includes, amongst others, a stockpile of medical equipment in order to respond to health emergencies, like the COVID crisis. VWS has closed a grant agreement with RescEU for the organisation and management of a RescEU physical medical stockpile of medical equipment for the EU member states for the duration of five years.
