DSB would like to request a quotation for vehicle mounted system for automatic catenary inspection. DSB aims to reduce faults and operational disruptions caused by overhead contact lines. Therefore, a pilot project is planned, involving the installation of cameras on two train sets to evaluate this solution. The primary objective is to assess whether the cameras can have a preventive effect on faults, thereby reducing both operational disruptions and costs. The project requires the procurement of four cameras – two cameras per train set, as each train set has two pantographs. The solution must include software capable of analyzing data from the cameras and accurately identifying potential issues. The pilot project will run for a duration of 18 months, and the supplier is required to provide a total price for the complete solution.
