DTU requires the delivery of a turnkey, highly stable, and mutually coherent dual-comb light source with a broad spectral tuning range covering the near- to mid-infrared. The system shall be capable of generating femtosecond pulses at high repetition rates. The proposed solution shall consist of a tuna-ble optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a dual-comb laser. The OPO shall provide continuous spectral coverage in the mid-infrared range from 2300 nm to 4200 nm and in the near-infrared range from 1500 nm to 1700 nm, while simultaneously providing output of the pump dual-comb. The system shall be installed at DTU Electro within the Optical Sensor Technology group. The delivered solution shall be fully integrated, user-friendly, and suitable for operation by multiple users. It shall support a wide range of applications, including but not limited to precision molecular sensing, rapid pump-probe analysis, hyperspectral imaging, and advanced semiconductor and photonic chip characterization.
