Homologation of 7 Dosto coaches - Homologation of 7 Dosto coaches for certified operation with DSB in Denmark
The purpose of this tender is to outline the requirements for the advisory/consultancy and certification services for the homologation of 7 Dosto (DD4) coaches for operation by DSB under the supervision of the Danish NSA (National Safety Authority) – Trafikstyrelsen. These coaches received EBA-type approval in 2009 and were operated by Länderbahn in Germany until 2023. The coaches will undergo conversion at Alstom's Hennigsdorf facility, followed by a homologation process for approval in Denmark. The 7 DD4 coaches shall operate under DSB upon successful homologation, ensuring compliance with European rail regulations and Danish national requirements. DSB must ultimately be the type-approval holder of the 7 DD4 coaches.
